Operation Big Slick (The Stranger)
Documents just released by the King County Prosecutor’s office reveal more details about the two-year long investigation by Seattle police into several underground card rooms around the city, which resulted in a $217,000 drug bust on June 10.
Couple of random responses:
- The police *started* the investigation after a local newspaper mentioned the clubs in a story…and perhaps it wasn’t even in the context of either the Capitol Hill or Wah-Mee shootings.
- Seattle hipsters managed to organize all that?
- Tubs? Really? Gross.
- It took *two years* to bust a few card rooms?
