Beeeeeer
Rainier Beer ran a commercial for most of the ’80s that featured a motorcycle driving my local country roads below Mt. Rainier and then a random slogan. The engine whine sounded out “Rainnnnnnieeeeeer…beeeeeer”. My elementary school was enthralled—for at least 3 years after, every motorycycle that passed triggered an Astro van full of kids yelling “Rainier Beer” along with the engine. To this day, I could probably start the “Rainnnn” part and locals would fill in the rest.
…And of course youTube has the motorcycle ad plus a whole dedicated channel, rainierbeertv. Around the same time the featured another series which also ‘effed with kids’ heads: the running beer cans, ‘beerish on America’.
