The Kylie concert on Saturday surpassed even my highest hopes.  I’d say the crowd was 85% male, and everyone was beyond excited—a room packed with superfans. It was the gayest event ever, in all the best ways. Her show was worth the decades wait—technically, musically, and visually amazing.

The highlights for me were a rollicking version of “Kids” and an breathtaking rendition of “Confide in Me” that reminded me of “November Rain”-era Guns N Roses.  (Weren’t expecting that, were ya?)  She’s the queen of disco. Now cross your fingers that she’ll include North America on her next world tour so I’ll get to see her again some day.
