Blue Eyes of Baseball
It’s difficult to keep your eyes on the prize (or in this case, the baseball)—especially if your eyes are blue.
At least, that’s what the pros are saying: baby blues, according to Texas Rangers hitter John Hamilton, pose a problem when trying to nail the ball from home plate. According to the New York Times, Hamilton’s daytime batting average at .240 is significantly lower than the .334 he bats at night.
