Blackstreet - Fix
While this is the original, I still adore ‘Fix’ on the virtue of the music video, featuring Blackstreet, Fishbone and ODB all sharing the same tenament house. The remix of ‘Fix’ made for the video—featuring Fishbone’s nutmeg flourishes and ODB’s incomprehensible growl/yelling—is the one I hear in my head when I play the original. Makes it a *lot* better.
